  2. The Fall, 1989 issue of 'WORLD WATCHERS INTERNATIONAL' 
  3. published a letter from 'M.C.' of Canoga Park, California, which 
  4. alleged the following:
  5.  
  6.      "The intercerebral implants in the heads of many (UFO)
  7. abductees correspond surprisingly well with a description of a
  8. device known as the 'stimoceiver' invented in the late '50s by
  9. neuroscientist Jose Delgado.  A miniature depth electrode which
  10. can receive and transmit electronic signals over FM radio waves. 
  11. With a positioned stimoceiver, an outside operator can wield a
  12. surprising degree of control over the subject's response.  It can 
  13. be attached to the tympanic membrane, transforming the ear into
  14. a sort of microphone, and I assume, a loudspeaker.  Stanford
  15. Research Institute discovered that sub-vocalized words form
  16. recognizable EEG patterns, which can be read by computer.
  17.      "A technique called RHIC-EDOM (Radio Hypnotic Intracerebral
  18. - Electronic Dissolution of Memory) uses stimoceivers to induce 
  19. post-hypnotic suggestions.  Is this the 'missing time' of abduct-
  20. ees?" (Note: although many 'abductees' have observed only the
  21. 'saurian greys' or other types of 'greys' -- or even greys working 
  22. with 'Military' personnel -- during their experiences, a few have 
  23. actually described Military-CIA types operating the craft exclusive-
  24. ly.  One subscriber whose letter appeared beside the one mention-
  25. ed here, an 'R.D., of Pennington, New Jersey', referred to one 
  26. abduction case wherein "...the principle 'alien' spoke to a woman
  27. in the English language, not via telepathy.  She recognized the 
  28. voice as that of her close friend, who was then employed by the
  29. CIA."  One other case described by Charles Berlitz concerned a 
  30. hunter who fired on some 'men' who had emerged from a disk-
  31. shaped craft.  One of the men got a bullet in the leg and fell down 
  32. cursing, yelling in English at the gunman and asking what the hell
  33. he did that for.  The hunter later had visits from government types 
  34. who warned him to keep quiet about the incident, and he got the 
  35. impression the men he saw in the craft were some type of CIA or 
  36. government agents.  Such cases to date have been rare however 
  37. -- when compared with the majority of the 'encounters', and should 
  38. not be mistaken with the contacts with 'other' human groups
  39. wherein the occupants respect the individual's privacy and free will
  40. in obedience to some universal 'prime directive' [unlike the gray
  41. 'abductions' themselves wherein the persons free will or privacy is 
  42. considered of little or no value] - Branton).  
  43.      The letter continues: "Another technique uses a 'hemi-synch'
  44. device to produce different frequencies in each ear to 'entrain' the 
  45. subject's brain with alpha or theta waves by the operators wishes, 
  46. which could lead to vivid, directed hallucinations... Abductees 
  47. describe a 'stereophonic sound' preceding their 'encounters'.  
  48. These psycho-electronic devices may seem esoteric, and difficult 
  49. to believe, but bio-electronics has been the primary focus of mind
  50. control research since the cessation of MKULTRA (i.e. the CIA 
  51. 'mind control drug' experiments - Branton) in the '60's.  Experiment-
  52. ation has been carried out not (only) by the CIA, but by military 
  53. intelligence agencies, especially the Defense 
  54. Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).
  55.      "(UFO 'skeptic', and possible intelligence agent) Philip Klass 
  56. relied on hypnotist/psychiatrist Martin Orne for his abduction book, 
  57. BUT NEVER MENTIONED THAT ORNE WAS FUNDED to do
  58. MKULTRA work on amnesia by DARPA, the Air Force and the 
  59. Navy.  Orne of course denies the possibility of a 'Manchurian 
  60. Candidate' (i.e. that is, the use of a powerful hypnotic subject as
  61. described in the movie of the same name, to be 'programmed' for
  62. political assassination and then 'forget' any involvement with the
  63. head-doctors who controlled him - Branton), but BROTHERHOOD 
  64. OF MURDER, about the neo-Nazi group called 'The Order', notes 
  65. that they made contact with a Defense Department scientist to 
  66. gain access to an esoteric mind control device.  This implies the
  67. technology is advanced enough, and portable enough for a small
  68. group to use.  Jacques Vallee (Ufologist) mentions a UFO
  69. contactee who murdered an East-bloc politician under the orders
  70. of the 'space brothers'... M.C..."
